Victor Wooten's Bass/Nature Camp
3 Week Residency

That’s correct – 3 Full Weeks!!!
Although the students at Bass/Nature Camp are given hundreds of techniques, theories, and tools, the information is meant to be written down and taken home for further exploration and practice. There just isn’t adequate time during the week to get good at most of it. At B/NC – 3 week Residence, the goal will be for each student to become proficient at ALL of the information given.
This camp will be structured much like a college where the students live on site, attend classes each day, and are tested each week. Each student will receive a headphone practice amp and a drum machine - pre-programmed by Victor. Victor Wooten will teach 5 to 6 days of each week and will be joined by a cast of select instructors that will rotate in and out providing the students with a solid, well-rounded education and experience. The students will spend quality time with Victor, the instructors, and each other, as well as having plenty of free time, providing the best learning situation possible. The schedule will be intense, but fun – the goal being to push each student past his or her perceived limits.
The 3-week class will culminate with a public concert performed by the students and Victor at a concert hall in downtown Nashville, TN. Are you up for the challenge?
“This is the class I’ve been wanting to do for years.” - Victor
Date: July 19 – Aug 9, 2010 Skill Level: Beginning to Advanced |

Victor Wooten's Camp Jam
Sept. 25-26, 2010

A key element to Victor Wooten’s rapid musical development as a youngster was directly related to him having numerous people to jam with. On many occasions, Victor would get off the school bus and walk directly into to his garage where his brothers would be jamming with other local musicians. During the summer, these jams would literally last all day.
Recreating how Victor and his brothers spent many of their childhood weekends, this one-of-a-kind gathering will be two complete days of jamming; the goal being to have fun and learn from each other through the experience of jamming together. Victor will be there the whole weekend and will supply a few extra musicians (to fill in the blanks), but the bulk of the jamming will come from all of you. For anyone planning to attend please RSVP by email: wootenwoods@aol.com. Thank U!
Come join Victor and his friends and Jam – ALL DAY!
PRICE: Weekend Price - $300. in advance and $350. at the door.
