• How To Apply....

  The application process is a bit different this year. Please read carefully before beginning!

   

  To Apply, first choose the camp that you would like to attend. When the application period for that camp is open, an APPLY HERE button will be visible under the camp's description. Click the button to generate an e-mail which serves as your 'Letter-of-Intent'.

   

  In the body of the e-mail, please be sure to list the camp for which you are applying, your Name, Address, Age, and current e-mail address.

   

  You will receive a complete questionaire and further instructions by return e-mail.

   

  Please only Apply for camps for which the Application Period is open!

   

  We're waiting to hear from you!

   

  Future Camps...

  • We have some great things planned for the future!
  • Some future camp ideas include: Bass/Nature Camp Jr., Music/Nature Camp Jr., Spirit of Music, Plant Weekend, Tracking Weekend, Exploration Weekend (No agenda - whatever happens, happens)
    and Family Camp (a camp for the whole family). Keep watching for news as these camps become a reality!

  Where are you? Who are you playing for? What have you done since your B/N C experience?

   

  We're working to build a database of information on all of our alumni and would love to hear from you. Whether you're playing bass for Beyoncé or you ran away to join the circus.... let us know what you're up to!

   

  Please contact the Alumni Office (actually, just send Dave an e-mail) and tell us what camp you attended and what you've done since then or what you're doing now.

  • 2009 was an exciting year for us as we settled into our new home at Wooten Woods Retreat. Beginning with the April Bass/Nature Camp and wrapping up the year with the first-ever Music/Nature Camp, we were able to share music, nature, and oneness with new-found friends.

  • Since the year 2000, Victor Wooten's Bass/Nature Camp has been affecting the lives of hundreds of musicians from around the world. As we enter our 11th year, we're very excited to be at our new home. In the coming weeks, we'll be posting pictures and memories from our years at Montgomery Bell State Park.

Thank you for your help in making Wooten Woods a reality! We really, really appreciate all of you and will try to make it easy for you to help. Right now, just about everything is needed. Just think about what it takes to build and run a camp and we are probably in need of just that: buildings, cabins, tables and benches, chairs, windows, window coverings, shower curtains, toilets, everything! The best way to help right now is by making a $25 contribution. Of course, contributions of larger (or smaller) amounts are greatly appreciated, but since we don’t have non-profit status (yet), we are trying to keep the contribution request as low as possible.
